Privacy
The short version: the apps never send anything about swimmers, clubs, results or your files. This website uses no cookies.
Lane Ten is run by Alastair Rainsbury. Questions: support@laneten.app. Last updated 6 November 2026.
Meet Sheets
Meet Sheets reads the start lists and results in a meet's reports folder and makes PDFs on your computer. The meet's files never leave your computer.
Each time you save or print a PDF, the app sends a small usage note so we can see how it's used and which versions are still out there:
| Sent | Example |
|---|---|
| The meet name printed on the PDF | Lane Ten Demo Open 2026 |
| The local date and time | 14 June 2026, 08:42 |
| Which sheet, and Save or Print | Start list, Save |
| App version and Windows or Mac | 0.1.2, Windows |
| A random code for this computer | Made up by the app; it identifies no one |
- Never sent: swimmer names, clubs, times, results, entries, file names or anything else from your files.
- Your internet address is not kept. Our server (a Cloudflare Worker at
stats.laneten.app) adds a rough town or city from Cloudflare and stores the note; it never reads or stores the address itself. - Works offline. With no internet the notes wait on your computer and go the next time the app runs online.
- Turn it off in Settings (the gear) → Send usage stats. That also deletes any notes still waiting.
Words to PDF
Words to PDF collects no data. Your words, images and PDFs stay on your device, and the app makes no network requests. QR codes are made on the device too. Its App Store privacy label is "Data Not Collected".
